FACES of HOPE
Meet Alex.
Alex was 8 years old when Shiawassee Hope first came to her neighborhood.
She participated in all of our events, received tutoring from one of our volunteers in her middle school years, worked with a Navigator to find housing in her young adult years, and is now a student at Lansing Community College and a volunteer in the same neighborhood where she grew up.
Alex’s career goal is to be a children’s trauma therapist.
She is just one example of the many faces that have been impacted by the work done through Shiawassee Hope.
